The financial magazine Dinero included Jorge Torrado in its list of the 100 most influential personalities in Colombia evaluating him as “the most prominent lawyer in the field of company negotiation in the Colombian Stock Exchange. His advice is most sought since his expertise is in Securities Law…” Cromos Magazine has also highlighted him as one of the 12 lawyers “who deal with millionaire cases in Colombia,” and has stated that his own colleges recognize him as one of the top lawyers in the country. The prestigious legal directory published by Chambers & Partners in its edition for 2004-2005 highlighted that “securities expert Jorge Torrado is loved by clients for his 'first class assistance.'” The 2006 edition commented that he “'wins hands-down' the market's praise as a specialist in securities, capital markets and public M&A transactions.” Also, the 2007 edition points out that our founding partner is “acclaimed as 'a fantastic lawyer for complicated financial and commercial structures.'”
Additionally, Latin Lawyer magazine published an article on the 20 best lawyers under 40 in Colombia, in which one of our partners, Juan Pablo Pinzón, was included, and described by his clients as “an expert in commercial law”, with “a great ability to look further a field,” and who they “recommend as a lawyer for his dedication and responsibility to his profession.” The publication highlights that “he always procures the best legal advice possible for his clients, and as a person has the highest values.” His peers also recognize that “he has excellent negotiation skills.”
